Service Description

Our First Aid at Work three day course provides everything you need to respond confidently to workplace accidents and medical emergencies. There is no need to travel, we come to you and offer in house training which not only reduces travel cost for participants, but also allows them to learn in an environment they are familiar with. What you will learn: - First Aid Legislation - Documentation and essential equipment - Primary and Secondary survey - Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) - How to use an Automated External Defibrillator (AED) - The Recovery Position - Allergic reactions and how to use and Epi-pen - Diabetic emergencies - Choking and Asthma attacks - Burns and scalds - Poisoning - Seizures - Stroke - Controlling bleeding - Spinal injuries - Muscle and bone injuries - Eye injuries and how to perform and eye washout Participants also undergo multiple simulated scenarios to allow them to put the skills they have learned into practice.
